Robert Smallwood Jr.

President/Co-Owner

Robert Smallwood Jr. began working in the industrial wastewater business in the mid 1980’s. In the late 1980’s, he started working in the municipal wastewater business. In the early 1990’s, he began working and became certified as a waterworks operator.

He was the Director of Utilities for Surry County until A.B.A. Well and Septic Services Inc. was established.

Robert Smallwood III

Treasurer/Co-Owner

Robert Smallwood lll began working in the municipal wastewater business in the 1990’s. Then he served a 3 year apprenticeship with a local septic tank installer and service provider. The owner of the septic company he was employed with decided to retire. Robert Smallwood Jr. and Robert Smallwood lll had the opportunity to buy the trucks and the septic pumping portion of his business. This father and son team started their businessventure and opened up A.B.A. Well and Septic Services.

Misty Martin

Office assistant

Misty joined our team in 2018. Although she is fairly new to the area, she has a strong real estate background and understands what realtors have to go through to close a deal.

With 20 years of customer service experience she is a great asset to the family here at ABA.

AnnMarie Ouellette

Accounts Manager

AnnMarie Ouellette joined our team in 2016. As the daughter of Robert Smallwood Jr., AnnMarie is excited about being a part of the family business.
